Yahoo! Green is a website created by Yahoo! that gathers news, ideas, and discussion about ways to promote an environmentally conscious lifestyle. It includes numerous ideas on conserving natural resources and limiting consumption and waste.

One of the main subheadings is a news board called “Climate Change News.” This gathers many news items, from around the World, which are related to climate change on a variety of levels. It constitutes a significant appearance of climate change news as a separate news category at a major website.

The site also links to Yahoo! Answers and displays related questions and answers from Yahoo users. This constitutes just one way of enabling users to add content.

Worldchanging is an American non-profit online magazine and blog about sustainability and social innovation.

The site has earned positive reviews (and won several awards and honors) and was rated the second largest sustainability site on the web by Nielsen Online in 2008.

Worldchanging is also the title of a book by the same editors, Worldchanging: A User’s Guide for the 21st Century, a survey of best-practice solutions in sustainability and social innovation.

The site officially launched on January 6, 2009.

In late 2006, the two sites were combined into GreenBuildingTalk, expanding participation and interaction to cover all green building methods and technologies.
