Modern Prefab Homes
Modern Prefab Homes
Nestavilla has been building modern prefab homes for 18 years. The company is based out of Turkey and supplies their homes throughout the world. The homes are made of galvanized steel and the entire home is assembled with special screws and bolts without any welding.

The homes come complete with ceilings, doors and windows. The outer walls are insulated and the ceiling roof system has noise absorbing materials built in. The seamless roof truss system is solid and strong steel.

Prefab homes and especially prefab steel residential buildings are very useful as they can be constructed within a quick time.
Prefab homes are definitely the future of the residential buildings.

Living in the rich suburb as we do, its quiet an achievement to outdo someone on the looks of the house. I was under huge pressure especially with my daughter keen on getting the “most stylishly sophisticated” flooring for our house. I went to this place MAFI, apparently some European company, the designs which they offered took my breath away but what was more important to me was that it got a lot of compliments from our neighbors and my daughter’s friends. I got what I wanted and I must say I was quite relieved.
What a great house for the poor in the world.
Great stuff here!
Shipping containers / modular / prefab homes will offer solutions to the world’s housing shortage for the deprived, under-privileged and low income populations in society by providing a total system for basic, low-cost, quality built housing. The modular housing constructed with sandwich panels is the lowest in cost, most rapidly erected, simplest in design, and most structurally sound basic housing in existence today. Plus, you can ship 21 houses in a 40 foot container.
We need more steel construction homes in Australia. The cost of building is getting out of hand. We have a problem with temites over hear so that would sort them out.

Pre-fab homes are an awesome way of keeping the costs down. Steel building are quick to build and home construction is become more and more expensive as wages rise. Have built some metal pre-fab structures in the past and I have always found them to be strong with alot of options.
If you are considering modular or prefab home, building with containers is worth taking a look at.
Good resource is the Residential Shipping Container Primer website. A SHOWCASE OF SHIPPING CONTAINER HOMES AND BUILDINGDS, AND A DO IT YOURSELF (DIY) REFERENCE FOR CONVERTING RECYCLED INTERMODAL CARGO SHIPPING CONTAINERS INTO BUILDINGS AND ARCHITECTURE.
Lots of great example buildings, details, facts, and links to other articles. They have something new that you can setup your own project wiki to get help with your project if you are considering a design build project.
